St Giles owes it 12th century foundations to The Priory Church of St Peter in Dunstable, which was responsible for building many of the churches in the area. The bulk of St Giles though is a 14th century achievement.
Points of interest:
- The tree of life design in the east window, by John Piper, 1972
- The carved wooden roof dedicated to church benefactors, the Ashwell family in the 16th century
- The Rebus – a carving in stone over the pulpit, which represents an angel holding an emblem depicting an ash tree and a well.
